Based in Syracuse, NY, CNY Project Hope is committed to helping the poor, feeding the hungry, and supporting local food pantries. Our mission is to provide essential resources such as nutritious food, hygiene products, and household items to individuals and families facing hardship. We believe no one should go hungry, and we work tirelessly to address immediate needs while restoring hope and dignity to those in difficult circumstances. As we expand beyond our local community, we aim to bring support to more cities, ensuring that vulnerable individuals have access to the resources they need. Through ongoing programs, we are creating lasting impact and fostering a community where every person has a chance to rebuild their life.
The motto, "No More Hunger", represents more than a goal—it’s a movement built on community action and compassion. Our grassroots initiative seeks to address hunger and food insecurity, beginning in Syracuse and expanding to other cities. By supporting local food pantries and organizing food drives, we help ensure that families have access to essential resources. We are driven by a belief that hunger can be eliminated through collective effort, and we don’t rely on qualifications or awards to guide our work—what drives us is the shared commitment of volunteers united by the goal of ending hunger. Together, we can make sure that no one in our communities goes hungry, and that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Our journey began with hands-on volunteering in collaboration with different organizations. We spent time on the streets feeding the hungry, working at food pantries, and witnessing the growing need for assistance. Inspired by this firsthand experience, we started creating blessing bags, collecting clothing, and cooking dinners to distribute to those in need. As we continued to see the depth of the need, a group of us came together to establish a non-profit that could make a more lasting impact. What started with a few dedicated individuals has now grown into a full-fledged organization, working to provide ongoing support to the hungry and those facing hardship. Our mission continues to expand as we offer resources, hope, and a sense of community to those who need it most.
Our dedicated team is at the heart of everything we do, working together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Each member brings their unique skills and passion to our mission, from managing operations and tech support to creative social media engagement and impactful video production. Together, we strive to create positive change in our community, ensuring that no one is left behind. With a shared commitment to compassion and action, our team is always ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute to our mission of hope and support.

Homelessness is a complex issue, often tied to many difficult circumstances such as substance abuse, mental illness, financial instability, and domestic violence. At CNY Project Hope, we understand that no two stories are alike, and we approach each situation with compassion and individualized care. We recognize that homelessness is not just the absence of shelter, but the result of a combination of traumas and challenges that affect both the mind and spirit. Recovery from homelessness, therefore, is not simply about providing a roof over someone’s head—it’s about addressing the holistic needs of each person, including their emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. We are committed to helping people find the tools they need to heal, regain stability, and rebuild their lives. We stand as a bridge, helping individuals move from crisis to recovery, with dignity and the support of a caring community.
